Another Tiger Woods Story
The story, first published by retired sports writer Furman Bisher on what happened on the night of Tiger Wood’s accident, may be true after all, writes Henry Blodget.
Blodget believes that the story is likely closer to the reality than the official ones. According to the story, on Thanksgiving Day, Tiger spent the afternoon watching football and sending text messages to Rachel. Tiger deleted all of the messages sent to and received from Rachel except for one which he forgot. As he left to play poker with one of his friends, Tiger left behind his cell phone.
When Tiger returned home that night Elin confronted him about the text message. Tiger casually played it off and told Elin she was reading too much into it and went upstairs to change into his gym shorts. As he came back down Elin confronted him again about the message. Tiger denied everything and just as he turned his attention to the television, Elin hit him with a 9- iron, virtually knocking out his two upper teeth.
As Tiger ran out of his room, Elin chased him to his car with a golf club in her hand and broke the windows of his car. When Tiger crashed his car after this Elin panicked and called the police. This is the account given by Furman Bisher. The story could be a fiction but it fits more with the facts than the official ones, according to Blodget.
