Live Cattle Lower

Friday's USDA cattle slaughter was 96,000 head versus a year ago at 107,000 head. At last check, August Cattle was trading at 143.02, down 0.30, and October Live Cattle was trading at 144.10, down 0.55. December Live Cattle at last check was trading at 146.95, down 0.52. The USDA Monthly Cattle on Feed Report is due out at 3:00 p.m. ET.
