HSBC Is Looking At Emerging Markets Commodities
Richard Cookson of HSBC thinks that investors should avoid equity markets and instead invest in commodities in emerging markets. They especially like commodities in places like Russia, Gulf and Brazil, since there is a little risk that prices will fall and there is a big growth potential.
HSBC likes Aussie dollar and Australia in general, and thinks that China is rather bubbly.
One of the ETFs that could be interesting if you like emerging markets is Market Vector Russia ETF Trust (NYSE: RSX). This ETF gained 4.86% today.
