You've Got Work Ethic! (AOL)
AOL (NYSE: AOL) CEO Tim Armstrong wants you to be four times better than you were last month, or you should leave.
According to a leaked document obtained by Business Insider, Armstrong wants AOL's writers to produce 55,000 stories per month by April, up from 33,000.
Further breaking it down, he wants pageviews to skyrocket, going from 1,500 to 7,000, and he wants each individual writer to write somewhere between 5-10 stories per day. A lot of writers are already complaining, and Armstrong said good riddance in yesterday's earnings call.
"As for people who are leaving, if you don't want to work really hard, this isn't the right company for you," Armstrong said.
AOL reported strong earnings yesterday, but the stock still closed down sharply.
Shares of AOL lost $1.21yesterday to close at $22.64, a loss of 5.07%.
